Stroke Support: Find Your Community

Why Join a Stroke Support Group?

Support groups provide a safe space to share experiences, learn from others, and access helpful resources. By attending, you can:

  • Connect with fellow stroke survivors and caregivers.

  • Learn practical coping strategies for daily life.

  • Gain emotional support and encouragement.

  • Access expert advice from healthcare professionals.

  • Improve overall well-being and mental health.

If you or a loved one is navigating life after a stroke explore these options and find the group that best fits your needs.

For additional one-on-one support, you can also contact the Stroke Family Warmline at 1-888-4-STROKE (1-888-478-7653). Trained specialists are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT to provide guidance and encouragement for stroke survivors and their families.
